I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend despite all the rain! I did! Saturday, I stopped by the Tim Horton’s Camp Day fun fair with my little guy. He had fun playing the games they had set up. Sadly, because of the weather we didn’t make it to the carnival – maybe next time.
Sunday was the Great Pretenders pretend play info session hosted by yours truly. I have to admit I was pretty disappointed (and a little bit embarrassed) when only 3 of the 8 people who showed up but Dee from Great Pretenders did a really nice presentation about how pretend play is important to children’s development and how we, as parents, can encourage it and help them use their imaginations to grow and learn. Dee was INCREDIBLY generous and also gave out beautiful costumes, accessories and goodies to everyone who did come! Great Pretenders has always been very kind to me and my readers!
