Good morning, friends! I have been slacking a bit on the What’s Going On posts the past few weeks mostly because there wasn’t anything terribly excited going on but this weekend is doozy! So much family fun to be had (mostly) FOR FREE! Who doesn’t love free? A major highlight this weekend is the free Family Fun Day at Tecumseh sponsored by Noelle’s Gift! I am sad I have to miss it but I am hosting a BBQ for my amazing group of mommy friends and, for that, I am beyond excited! I even found myself cleaning my windows tonight… wait WHAT?!?! haha. When I get excited, I clean. There are worse things.
Anyhow, here’s what’s happening in Sarnia and the surrounding areas this weekend:
Saturday, July 11
8am – 10am: Bluewater Anglers Family Fun Derby (Free Fishing!)
11am: Cineplex Family Favourites Presentation ($2.99 admission!). Today’s Movie: Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb
12 – 4pm: Noelle’s Gift Family Fun Day
1pm & 7pm: Kettle and Stoney Point Pow Wow
Note: OEYC Main Site drop in is now closed on Saturday for summer holiday hours.
Sunday, July 12
9:30 – 10:15am: Family Fun Time @ Central United Church (all welcome)
10:30am – 12pm: Parent and Tot Open Swim @ YMCA
12pm: Kettle and Stoney Point Pow Wow
1 – 3pm: Free Sunday Family Art Drop In @ JNAAG. Today’s project: Marionette Puppet Making
2 – 4pm: Family Roller Skating
Canatara Choo Choo runs from 11am – 4pm on the weekends!
