The Optimists in Action day is a free fun day for the whole family held at Newton Park (Cathcart and McCrie) on Saturday, June 1, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
There will be games, inflatables, fire truck rides, a fire safety house, face painting, balloons, hot dogs, pop and cotton candy. The event is sponsored by the Sarnia Lakeshore Optimist Club.
