4 Spots Left! Mom and Tot Clay Handprint Program

Are you looking for something fun and different to do on Monday?

Christine Woolner from 2hands Clay  is hosting an inter-generational program at a local retirement home here in Sarnia!

I am sure there are plenty of older folks who don’t often get the pleasure of the company of children. Likewise, maybe there are some little folks who don’t have grandparents of their own. It’s a wonderful opportunity for wee ones, moms and seniors can enjoy to socialize together in a safe, comfortable environment.

One day only! Monday, March 28th @ 11:30am. Perfect for ages 3 months to 3 years.

Christine helps press the handprints and helps the moms decorate. The impression is kiln fired, clear glazed and ready in 3+ weeks. $$15.00 per print. Perfect little keepsake and even a great gift for dad for Father’s Day 2016.

For all the details and to register, email christine@2hands.ca or call (519) 434-8810. Space is LIMITED.

In addition to local support programs, platforms like All Day Parenting serve as an extended resource, offering a wealth of articles, advice, and practical solutions tailored to parents dealing with the unique challenges of raising teenagers.

By tapping into this online community, parents can gain insights, access expert advice, and connect with others facing similar situations. With the combined support of local programs like those offered by Sarnia-Lambton Rebound and the wealth of knowledge available on All Day Parenting, parents can arm themselves with the tools and understanding needed to navigate the complexities of parenting teenagers effectively, ultimately fostering stronger, healthier relationships with their children.

FYI: Closures Next Week @ Animal Farm and OEYC

Hello everyone!

Just wanted to let you all know that the City of Sarnia announced earlier on its Facebook page that the Children’s Animal Farm at Canatara will be CLOSED next week while the Humane Society brings the farm up to national standards (AMEN!).  I feel the need to point out that they are already doing an AMAZING job. I took my daughter back on February 1st and even then I could not get over the improvements that had been made! It is SO MUCH CLEANER!!!!!!!!!!! Mind blowing. We had the pleasure of meeting Shannon and she was fantastic. She took the time to talk to us, give us interesting facts about some of the animals at the farm, and some of the changes we could look forward to (Still haven’t met Wilbur yet, but I plan to tomorrow!). Keep up the good work!

Animal Farm Closed March 2016

The OEYC main site at Lambton College is also closed a few days next week:
