Canada Day Flag Craft

There is a chance of rain this afternoon so if you get stuck indoors for a bit, why not take the opportunity to make your own little Canada Day flags to wave proudly at tomorrow’s parade?!?

It doesn’t get any easier than this one!

Canada Day flag template

Canada Day flag template from BigActivities.com

1) Print the black and white version on  red construction paper and glue the lines and maple leaf on white paper or cardstock. Attach a Popsicle stick or wooden kebob skewer with the sharp ends cut off to the back of the flag using clear tape.

OR
2) Skip the glue and just print out the colour version and attach stick.

If you really want to jazz it up, you can add glitter to the red sections!

Reminder: Petrolia Canada Day Celebrations Moved!

Just a friendly reminder that, due to high water levels from this weekend’s rainfall, Petrolia’s Canada Day Celebrations have been moved from Bridgeview Park to Greenwood Park!

Also, the kids fishing derby has been POSTPONED.
