NEW Evening Farmer’s Market Starts Tomorrow!
Ok, here it is!
Somebody (a genius) at the Sarnia-Lambton Business Development Corporation had the BRILLIANT idea to try out an evening farmer’s market! All of my eat local dreams come true starting tomorrow (June 25. 2015) evening! AN EVENING FARMER’S MARKET, folks! I could just scream with excitement! I can’t think of a better way to spend every Thursday evening with my family… a nice walk under the Bluewater Bridge, kids can visit the playground (and eventually the splashpad!) and feed the fish at the Bluewater Anglers hatchery, maybe the occasional bridge fries or ice cream treat, and best of all be able to buy some fresh, delicious, healthy, REAL, local produce and foods. YES! YES! YES! Count me there. Runs every Thursday throughout the summer from 4 -8 pm.
Canada Day Festivities 2015 for Sarnia & Area!
Ohhhhhh it’s almost Canada Day, friends! It is one of my favourite holidays and now that I have kids of my own, I get pretty excited about sharing the traditions of the day with them! Finding a good spot to watch the parade, trying out the yummy international food booths and enjoying the entertainment at Canatara, and (someday) the music and fireworks!
Here is what’s going on in and around Sarnia for Canada Day 2015:
