What’s On in Sarnia for Easter Weekend!

Greetings everyone!

I know there hasn’t been much showing up on the blog lately and, while I am sorry about that especially considering my recent vacation hiatus, I am super excited to tell you all it’s because of the BIRTHDAY PARTY DIRECTORY I am creating for Sarnia Mom Source! It’s an idea I have been thinking about for a long time and a recent email request for such an idea has set the wheels in motion (thanks, Sara!)! It’s been pretty time consuming as I am doing my absolute best to make sure it’s the most detailed, comprehensive list possible so that you no longer have to spend all of YOUR precious time hunting for info on rental halls, princess parties or cake bakers to name a few. It is going to be awesome! I don’t usually roll out the “What’s Going On” list until Saturday morning, but since a lot of people have family things going on and like to plan ahead, here’s what is happening for Easter Weekend fun in Sarnia:

Don’t forget to visit the Easter Bunny at Lambton Mall! He’s there until Saturday, April 4 everyday from 11am-7pm. View pricing.

Friday, April 3
Saturday, April 4
Sunday, April 5

If you want to try making a special treat on Easter morning, these pancakes look easy and are SO STINKIN’ CUTE!!!!

What’s Going On in Sarnia This Weekend

Bluewater Bridge Resurfacing Project

If the lousy exchange rate isn’t enough to deter you from heading stateside these days, the prospect of getting stuck in single lane traffic jams might. Check out this handy infographic released by the City of Sarnia for all the details you need to know about the upcoming resurfacing project:

Personally, this will definitely cut down on my trips since there is no greater hell than being stuck in a car with 2 screaming kids when you have to pee.

Kindermusik Easter Playdates

Ms. Lorraine is hosting her Kindermusik Easter playdates tomorrow evening and Monday morning!  Everyone is welcome, you do not have to be signed up to the Kindermusik program to attend. There is a 45 minute Easter themed class with songs and instruments geared to preschooler crowd. There will be a little Easter egg hunt, snacks, and crafts after the class! It’s fun! I have posted these before as both of my kids really enjoy them (and so do I)! Contact Ms. Lorraine to register if you are interested in attending. See you there!
